Or like darknesses under the ocean which is covered by waves upon waves, above which are dark clouds, thus darkness above darknesses. Then if one stretches his hands, he can hardly see it. And to the one whom the Lord Allah has not granted the Light, then he has nothing from the Light.
Light is one of the 40 names of Adhikr. Adhikr is revealed to bring mankind from the darkness into the Light as explained in verse 14: 1.
The Arabic Quran reading disbelievers who reject Adhikr will try to extinguish the Light Adhikr by their mouths, but the Lord will fulfill His Light throughout the world as explained in verses 9: 32-33. They are deaf, dumb, and blind towards Adhikr, they neither utilize Adhikr nor give It to others as explained in verses 6: 25-26. They are denoted as the worst creatures among 1000 communities of the Lord’s creatures as explained in verse 8: 22. See explanation 4: 174-175 and 24: 35.
